Southlands’ annual Washington DC/Virginia trip is well underway. So far, students have been able to tour famous memorials, monuments, and destinations such as Arlington National Cemetery, Tomb of the Unknowns, The Pentagon, Monticello, Jamestown Settlement, Colonial Williamsburg, Ford’s Theatre, The Jefferson Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. Looking forward to meeting Congressman Ed Royce after our Capitol tour tomorrow.
