Dear Friends,

Welcome to Southlands Christian Preschool! Thank you for choosing our preschool for your child. We look forward to having an impact in your child’s life spiritually, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Our school is geared toward training up a child in the ways of the Lord so that when they are old they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). Our goal is to create an environment where children can get to know a real and personal Savior in our Lord Jesus Christ. Our program is God-centered, biblically based and inspired, academically appropriate, and meets and/or exceeds the requirements presented in the Pre-Kindergarten Learning and Development Guidelines developed by the California Department of Education.

Each person on our staff has a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and is committed to loving and teaching young children. You will find them to be friendly, loving and dedicated. Lessons are well planned, fun, developmentally appropriate, and are designed to maximize your child’s growth. Teachers are thoroughly trained and meet or exceed all state requirements. Please carefully read the information included in this booklet and keep it available for reference throughout the year.

Myself, as well as our staff, are committed to coming alongside you to help train up your child in the ways of the Lord. If ever you should have a question, a concern, a need or a prayer request, please know that my door is always open to each of you. We consider it a great privilege and opportunity to have your child with us at our school.
