Programs:

The following programs are available at Southlands Christian Preschool.  For more information on a specific program, be sure to visit the program page.  

Curriculum Overview:

Bible Curriculum:
The teaching of God’s word aims to produce Godly character traits and relationship with Jesus Christ. Bible is integrated into the curriculum through weekly Chapels, Bible stories, songs, and prayer.


Computer Classes:
Half hour weekly lessons in our Computer Lab helps reinforce what your child is 
learning in the classroom while gaining beginning computer skills and becoming acquainted with today’s technological world.

Language Program:
We use 'Peabody' and other resources to develop communication and vocabulary skills appropriate for each level.

LetterLand:
This portion of the curriculum uses lively memorable characters to teach letter recognition and phonic sounds to prepare children for reading.

Math Activities:
Math activities are utilized to teach number recognition and values, as well as age-appropriate numerical and mathematical concepts.

Hands-On Activities:
Arts, Crafts, Cooking and Science experiences allow children to explore 
and develop their creative talents

Music and Movement:
Exposure to both music and rhythmic movement is included in our daily program.

Extra Curricular Activities:
These are optional classes that are offered in the afternoon. Available classes are Amazing Athletes, Young Rembrandts, Gymnastics and Dance.
