Spring 2027 International Student Application

Step 1: Application

Complete application online: https://southlandscs.fsenrollment.com/users/sign_in
Pay $250 application fee online
Upload official transcript of most recent years
- High school applicants are required to upload all transcripts from 9th grade
- 11th/12th grade all transcripts from 9th grade must be uploaded for evaluation in advance
Upload passport copy
Online Zoom interview: Must download Zoom on a computer
Evidence of English Proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo/TOEFL Jr.): Depends on the grade applied

Step 2: I-20 Processing (After Acceptance)

Provide Evidence of Funds: (No less than $30,000)
Pay a $650 I-20 processing fee and a reserved seat deposit of $10,000 (for Fall semester admission) or $5,000 (for Spring semester admission). The deposit amount may vary after the application deadline.
The I-20 form will be sent to the parents and/or guardians only

(Pay a $130 shipping fee if you want us to mail you the hard copy of the I-20 form. According to the current policy, the printed e-copy I-20 is accepted for the visa interview and the entrance to the US.)

Step 3: F1 Visa (Action Relating to Embassy/Consulate)

Pay I-901 Fee Online at: https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html
Schedule appointment with the U.S Embassy for F1 Visa (must bring I-20 Form & proof of I-901 fee payment)
Provide visa appointment confirmation letter within 7 days of receiving the I-20
The following circumstances will result in cancellation of the I-20:
- Non-submission of the visa interview confirmation letter within 7 days
- Provision of inacurate, false, or outdated visa interview information
- Visa rejection, not attending the interview (in case of denial, timely communication with the school)

Step 4: Actions after Passing the Visa Interview

Pay tuition within one week after the visa is granted
Complete the online registration enrollment system, where all the documents are sign and uploaded within the system
Provide an F1 Visa copy & arrival date to the International Admissions Office
Attend mandatory placement exam day and orientation
Students can only start after completing all immunization and submitting all required documents

All fees are subject to change
All fees are non-refundable
The reservation seat deposit is refundable solely with the latest valid official rejection proof
All documents provided must be in translated in English
Forged documents will result in automatic rejection
